review 1: This is the story of a woman called Frankie who wins the lottery and can have anything she wants and what does she want? She wants her selfish, grown-up children to grow-up and settle down with someone they love (preferably Jewish) and produce grandchildren and stop chasing pipe dreams. That's what she wants, so she ensures the bit about getting kids out of her kids by producing a contract that they will receive eight million dollars on account, if either one or both of them has a child within a year. Simple plan you might say but it's not as easy as it sounds when at first, the sister and brother duo try to fake it but will they ever realize that money isn't everything, especially, when you fall in love for real? I really enjoyed this novel's concept and rooted for the ch... morearacters all the way through to do the right thing by the end and don't screw it up. The writing style was a joy to read and I found myself looking forward to picking up my Kindle to carry on with it whenever I could. I will be reading another one of Jackie Pilossoph's books soon and I hope you will too.
review 2: As far as free Amazon prime books, this one was one of the better. That does not mean it was a really good book. It was a quick and easy read...appropriate for sitting by the pool or on the beach. The story is predictable but the premise is kind of clever: a 50 something mother of 2 is desperate for her self-centered children to settle down and give her grand children. When she wins the lotto she bribes her children to have babies within one year. If you need something mindless to read that will make you laugh once or twice you could do worse than Jackpot. less

It was a free book and at the end it sounds like a true story from what the author wrote.
