review 1: This was my first book by this author and I was not disappointed . From the first time they meet until the end I the book Peyton was ever her hero . Chantaya proves herself to be more than just a pretty face by rising to the challenges set before her. Together they endure friendship, hardships and occasional bad guys along the roads to their future. This book had faith , love , humor & tears all rolled in to one.
review 2: This is a story about love. It is set in Medieval times. Isabella Kincraig is being stalked by the Lord's son, even though she is married. She and her family try to flee, but there is a terrible accident and Isabella's husband is killed and Isabella is wounded. She and her daughter, Chantaya, are taken in by a family who helps them. The Lor... mored of the castle doesn't find her again for many years, and when he finds her, he says that she has to come work in his castle. Chantaya ends up spying for the king by listening to the Lord talk without his knowledge. I really liked this book. less
