review 1: This is the third book in the Rockland Ranch Series. I have had the opportunity to read the first two, so this book was a treat for me.The Rockland family are good people. They are strong, firm in their LDS beliefs, and loving. This book was about Sean, one of the son's in the Rockland family.Alexis is a young attorney. She works for a firm that have less than stellar ethics. As the story begins, she is sent from LA to Wyoming to try to snare an up and coming architect into her employer's trap in creating homes on land he plans to swindle the land owners out of. Her trip led her to meet Sean Rockland, just after she ran into an Elk and damaged her car. From the moment they meet, personalities collide and you can see the romance begin to develop. I liked the tension ... morethey had between them. I didn't like that neither was willing to trust and they tried to walk away from each other. I know that it added to the story, but it was frustrating. While this book can be read as a stand alone, I think it would be beneficial to read the first two books before this one to understand the family dynamic and the characters.
review 2: This was a quick read for me. Lexie is an attorney who does all the work to make the men in the office look good. She has no life, and is constantly staying on guard against her boss's come ons. She gets sent to WY to find a hot shot architect that the firm wants to hire to build homes on WY real estate that they plan to acquire through not completely honest means. After wrecking her car by hitting a moose, she is rescued and taken to a ranch to stay at until her car can be fixed. She is loaned a car and spends days trying to track down the elusive architect not realizing she is staying with his parents on their ranch and the very man - Sean - that she finds so attractive is who she is looking for. But he knows and keeps putting up roadblocks in her search. Sean wants 3 things in a wife, and he is definitely looking - she has to share his Mormon faith, want children, and will live on his family's ranch where all his siblings have built their own homes so they can be close and eat dinners together when they are all in town. Lexie is a city girl, a career woman (probably not looking to have kids), and not a Mormon. So why can't he stop thinking of her. When she learns who he is, she high tails it back to the city. Meanwhile, small collectible fairies that look just like Lexie keep showing up all over his house and everywhere he turns. Is his family doing this? Is Lexie some how sending them to a sibling who then hides them while he's at work? The compromises and life changes each is willing or unwilling to make is the rest of the story. less

A nice love story. I wish the main characters would have communicated better.
