review 1: 4.5/5A este libro le tenía muchas ganas, sobre todo por que he leído muy buenos comentarios de toda la serie, no obstante, no había leído nada de la autora.Emily es una joven con muy buena posición social, muy divertida, curiosa, valiente, ingeniosa y muy inteligente, que te arranca sonrisas desde el inicio de la novela. Logan, es un hombre que me ha cautivado, por que si bien no se dice que sea guapo, se me hace que es de esos hombre que tienen un no se qué, que te atraen. Y Emily no podrá resistirse a él.Sinceramente, desde el inicio, aunque ambos niegan sentirse atraídos el uno por el otro y aunque parece que no se soportan en absoluto, lo cierto es que se adoran, y es muy divertido leer las conversaciones entre estos dos.La trama se desarrolla muy lenta al pri... morencipio, o al menos a mí, me dio esa impresión, sentí que no avanzaba mucho y que por el contrario, cerca de las ¾ partes del libro, el ritmo se vuelve demasiado acelerado para mi gusto. Aunque como bien me dijo alguien hace muy poco, “todo depende de cómo te sientas emocionalmente, cuando lees un libro, para que te guste o no”.El libro me ha encantado, sí, mucho, mucho. Y me he quedado con ganas de leer los tres primeros libros de la serie.Si buscan un libro con romance, aventura, personajes chispeantes y mucha diversión, ¡agarren este libro!Muy bueno.
review 2: My first book read by JacquieD - really enjoyed the characters and their interactions with one another. Couldn't put the book down and started/finished the book in one sitting. The love story between Emily and Logan was filled with great passion but it became frustratingly annoying that they still didn't realize they loved each other until the very very end. There was quite a bit of action in the last few pages as well and the ending felt a bit rushed - Emily is kidnapped and saved within 5 pages and then the story wraps up a little too nicely for my taste. Overall a good book. less
