review 1: This book is just terrible. I tried to drop it when I got to the page where she, after a life of reading the mind of everyone else suddenly finds the first one silent. Are you f** kidding me? But, alas, I just finished reading really everything else in my kindle, so with this book I'm stuck till the end of the travel or the nearest bookstore. So I go on, and up comes the two hot guys, and more or less everything is as expected. It is a mix between any other pnr book that has gone out. Full of cliché of the genre, people that don't die, love triangles that go as expected and usual very subdued paranormal part which is normal people that have an excuse to be strange.
review 2: This book is difficult review. All my common sense is screaming at me to hate this b
... moreook on the very fact that the author cannot write in one tense. She changes tense each sentence and it is really off putting. But I was some how drawn into this. I think it is the originality of the plot. I really enjoyed her gift, but I found it ridiculous that she told so many people about her gift...that is not plausible. I found the fact that the characters were older at odds with the audience that this would appeal to. I did enjoy the story line though so I couldn't give it lower than two stars. There is something in it that is making me read the second one. less
