review 1: A disappointing sequel to Mr. Bowen's first book, "A Street Cat Named Bob". The first book was heartwarming and delightful. This book is much more episodic and self-centered with less focus on Bob. Some of the stories appear to be anecdotes that were left out of the first book. They are not as uplifting or enjoyable as those in the first book. One can only hope that if there is a third book dealing with the lives of the author and Bob following the success of the two books it is filled with more of the joie de vie and pathos that made "A Street Cat Named Bob" such a joy to read.
