review 1: DID ANYONE KNOW ABOUT THIS!? Nevermore was suppose to be the end! I seriously found out about a book 9 by mistake. Opened the back of Witch & Wizard The Lost and saw a sneak peek for "Maximum Ride Forever" the 9th and "final" book in the series and my jaw hit the ground. WAS HE PLANNING ON JUST SNEAKING THIS UP ON HIS FANS!? I FINALLY ACCEPTED THE END OF MY FAVORITE SERIES AND YOU JUST CAN'T LET ME LIVE MY LIFE CAN YOU PATTERSON!?I couldn't be more excited and yet at the same time more pissed about this book! I didn't really like the turn the series took around the 5th book Max but I still loved the series but I felt like Nevermore wasn't really a satisfying conclusion and was pissed at that but I feel like Patterson kind of screws with his readers with this whole "last bo... moreok oh wait just kidding" stuff he does. Regardless I will be buying this book the day it comes out and read it IMMEDIATELY. I am just hoping that this is finally the end. I hope he saves the series and redeems himself.
review 2: I'm seeing a lot of complaining and moaning about yet another book to this series. My son loves this series, when I told him there was another one coming out he was over the moon. I see it from a different perspective, if kids love them and it keeps them reading, then as far as I am concerned I hope the books keep coming!! I'm more than happy to pay for another book just to see my kids enjoying the pleasure of reading. less
