review 1: I can't say that I was overly enthusiastic about this book. A lighthearted book, but one has to ignore the many little factual inaccuracies, like the husband selling his car, then out of no-where he has a car. I felt in the end that it had too many "make it pretty" words in it. Cutting about 50 pages of dribble would have taken care of it. It's a book for whiling away a lazy afternoon without engaging the head too much.
review 2: this is a story about getting even and getting revenge, but in a funny way. underlying the comedy, there is a sense of seriousness to the whole subject. a husband leads a double life - one wife, one mistress. the women find out and decide to get even. some of the story does drag on a bit. i wouldn't read this again. there were so... moreme funny parts, and often makes you wonder if you really know your spouse. less
