review 1: Ugh, where to start? The bland, rudderless main character? The hellishly bourgeois family? The lack of plot? The constant exposition? The pointless descriptions? (My personal favourite was the one about a notepad, which Fallon describes as 'the kind where you tear off each page'. What other kinds of notepads are there?!?) This book has no soul, and felt like it was purely written for £££ rather than any kind of creative reason. I wish I had never bought it; it's an insult to readers. Avoid.
review 2: You can always rely on Jane to do a good story and her latest is no exception. The main character is slightly annoying in her ditheriness but she has to be to get the story to where it has to be so stick with her. My only complaint is the title/cover,
... morebecause it's called Skeletons and the size 0 model on the front needs a good meal I thought it was going to be a secret around eating disorders, its not! less

Disappointing and unnecessarily long. My least enjoyable read from Jane Fallon.
