Tapi gaji besar membuat Bernie terus bertahan menghadapi tingkah laku Jeremy.
review 2: I loved this book. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard while reading in a long time. It was one of the best romances I have read in a while.Bernie and Jeremy were amazing together. The chemistry between them was off the charts from the very beginning, rather they were loving or fighting. They came from different backgrounds, but not in the usual way of rich guy and girl from wrong side of tracks. Once you read you will know what I mean.I love the fact that Jeremy was a self made man. So many of the rich men in the novels I've read don't usually have the same kind of background the Jeremy had. His back story was very realistic and it explained very well what made him the man that he is.I also love the fact that Bernie is not your typical heroine. She was strong, smart, independent(sometimes to a fault)and selfless(especially when it came to her mother. I honestly can't find a single thing to fault about this novel and I am really looking forward to reading more from Jane Graves. less

The only thing I can say I didn't like about this book was the h's name, Bernadette...no matter what I did throughout this book I kept picturing a little gray haired lady. That said, the romance was a whirlwind.Take Bernadette, a bad-ass ex-military now bodyguard who takes no crap in her professional life while suffering in silence with her family responsibilities. Toss in mega rich guy, Jeremy and you're asking for a whirlwind romance if I've ever seen one. Pregnancy romances just do something for me that other genres don't. I think we all get a little sentimental when it comes to babies so maybe that's it. What can I say, I loved it. Watching the characters crawl out of their everyday shells to become better people for the sake of someone other than themselves is a great storyline. Jane Graves did a kick ass job on this book.

This is the first book I've read by Jane Graves and I was very impressed with it. The writing was crisp and the story moved along at a great pace. The characters were well developed and the attraction between the two of them very believable. The only thing that kept me from giving this book five stars was the ending -- something about how the hero realized he was in love with the heroine bothered me, but I am having a hard time explaining why. It just felt too contrived. However, I don't think my reaction should hold anyone back from reading this book. This is an extremely talented author who has a unique voice that is very fun to read.
