review 1: I would rate the art for this book 4 stars, but the plot only a 3 because to me the last half or third of the book felt really rushed to me. Also, I found the talk bubbles stark white to be distracting on a page with such muted tones. Other text was in a more ivory or tan box and looked better...I think they should have had different fonts, but kept the background color the same for the descriptive text and the dialogue. Gorgeous art!
review 2: For a graphic novel that's only a hundred pages, it packs a lot of punch. First of all. My God, the drawings are so pretty and detailed! Especially Tansy! I can't help but admire how pretty she is - white hair looks so cool now XD. I loved how the book was short but still stayed a story. I mean there are some cases wh
... moreere the characters stay the same until the end or the plot never really developed but "The Last Dragon" was not like that. I personally loved the fact that Lancot was a fake hero but ended up becoming a real one just to make sure Tansy didn't die. He started off pretended that he killed this, saved that when really, he was nothing more than a coward and a fraud - not to mention vain. I honestly didn't expect him and Tansy to end up together. It was a time when heroes were not as common as they used to be, and people were forced to become their own hero, their own saviour. This is a story filled with dragons and myths but honestly, carries so much more. Really enjoyed this one :) less

I'd give the art four stars. Didn't care that much for the wording of the story.

The story was not particularly intriguing, but the art was amazingly beautiful.

Really enjoyed this magical, short, gorgeously illustrated graphic novel.
