review 1: I was given this book through netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Evanovich has kept me captivated and laughing with the Plum series so I was excited to read her collaboration with Goldberg and I must say I wasn’t disappointed. The strong female character, Kate is a tough FBI agent who works with Nick a con-man extraordinaire to get the real bad guys. Nick is reformed, to some extent, but it takes a lot for Kate to trust him. The international locale for much of this book was entertaining as well; it added a little flavor to the plot. This book was a fast paced, easy read that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys reading crime novels with a touch of possible romance. This was the first book I read with Evanovich and Goldberg co-writing and I look forward ... moreto reading more.
review 2: 4 starsThis is a fun series. There are cons to capture bad guys with Nick Fox a thief con artist and FBI Agent Kate O'Hare working together. Most of all authorities don't know that Nick is working for the FBI.Kate is the only person to catch Nick before and everyone but a few think she is still chasing him.Someone is setting up Nick as a thief for new jobs. It is ruining his deal. Kate believes him but her boss is wondering about him so she is chasing the thefts all across the world.There are cons, drama, fun characters, chases , destruction and humor it makes for a exciting story.You never know who to trust or what will happen next. It is a clean read too.Kate is a strong character she is smart, single FBI Agent. Her father is one of the people who know that she and Nick are working together.I was given this ebook to read by Net Galley less
