review 1: Janice Hanna/Thompson writes romantic comedies that are perfect to give your brain a break and that I just love! This book about Amy's next crazy idea to save her town's failing economy was very good! You meet Amy, a woman who loves the tale of Camelot, the town of Camelot, and Steve, who is the mayor of Camelot and Amy's best friend since 7th grade. The supporting cast of characters is wacky and wondeful, and I absolutely loved chapter 19, with all the men in the pest control van, talking about their less than stellar love life!
review 2: Janice Hanna is one of my favorite authors. She has a spectacular ability to create a contemporary fiction novel, as well as historical novels. I had the pleasure of reviewing her previous Love Finds You novel (LFY in Poetry,
... more Texas) and absolutely loved it. So, I was quite excited to have the opportunity to review Camelot for the author. And, what a delight it was! I had this book read in no time. It gripped me from page one and held me until the last page. Reading Amy's story of loving Steve since childhood was so sweet! Poor Amy, bless her heart, she is always trying to do something but it always turns out wrong. So, what happens to Amy when she comes up with the idea to bring Camelot Tennessee back on the map financially? Steve, well he was quite the character! He, too, has loved Amy since childhood, though he's quite shy about it. I had so much fun following Steve in this story...he was such a wonderful guy! This book is so full of laugh out loud moments, along with some pretty surprising twists! Janice Hanna created a wonderful novel blended with life-like characters, Amy's silly ideas, a new man in town, and God's never ending grace! If you like Knights on horses, and ladies-in-waiting, then this 5 star creation is PERFECT for you! I can't wait to read the next Janice Hanna novel! less
