review 1: I got this because i love pretty much all of ashley and jaquvis books....this one not so much...this is NOT his best writing at all...being someone who doesn't really care about grammar when writing a text i found this book to have alot of grammatical errors and mistypes....fire the editor one this one...also i didn't think it was the best storyline either the only character that i liked was tical...with all that being sad i will read the rest of the series one because i cant not finish a series and two i have a small glimmer of hope the other books put this one to shame...
review 2: The Dope man’s WifeJaQuavis Coleman for writing The Dope man’s wife was to let his readers know about the everyday life of some people who get money illegally. Learning the
... more tricks and treats of the streets where you don’t always have to work for what you want, you just take it. The Dope man’s wife is a very exciting, outrageous book. This book could be inspirational to some people who like learning about things that happen in the streets or just overall like books that are very captivating. The excitement in this book is increasing always. The Dope man’s wife was a really good book. The Dope man’s wife was a very good book. The book was very easy for me to read because every page in the book lead to something exciting happens. The author provides details from the book that can be so deep you probably wouldn’t believe the action that goes on in it. For example, the main character Nautica thought her days were coming to an end after she and her cousin Khia robbed the man she thought she loved. Nautica’s cousin was killed by her ex in the robbery and she thought nothing could turn out right after that. (Nautica kept shaking Khia, but it was no use. The bullet had killed her on contact.) Even though Nautica knew she wasn’t ready to start a new life, she had to for her cousin Khia. Even though it was a rough start Nautica found her way in the city of Baltimore, she fell in love with a new man that she knew loved and cared for her more than anything else in the world his name was Tical. When Nautica’s past came back to haunt her, she tried her best to play a game no one knew she could play. This book was very spectacular. Everything was intense in this book, from the beginning to the end. Nautica’s personality was very open- minded. She knew that she had to do the best that she could to find herself and start over in life because that she had been living someone’s crazy, wild dream. It was clear to me that this book could have a big effect on some of the readers because of the environment and happenings of the book. After trying her hardest for a better life she finds one and tries not remembering her past. That is until it comes back to haunt her. (“Oh my god she whispered her breaths became shallow and her heart skipped a beat”) her ex’s friend was standing inside the den of her new man’s house. In the book I related to Nautica the most because she knew that she had to start fresh and right after she had been through so much in her life. When Nautica’s past comes back to haunt her, she does whatever it takes so that her man Tical will not find out and leave her. I would recommend this book to a few of my friends because all my friends like exciting things and stuff that they know can happen in the streets at any time. In the end of this book I learned that love never dies, but it is able to kill you. less
