review 1: I'm just wrapping this up o Day 2 of Jury Duty... Very fascinating read. I was already curious about those so-called lost years. And recently saw Chappelle at The Moore in Seattle and noted a nuanced changed in his tone and demeanor. I still love the guy and this account covers a lot of perspectives and possibilities. Answered some questions, and provoked others. I recommend the book if you're a fan of his stand up and his show. It's like "Where'd you go Bernadette?", but in real life!
review 2: A good read for any fans of Chappelle or Chappelle's show. The show was one of the best comedy shows ever to be on TV, knowing what happened on last night's episode was as important as anything going on at that time. Then his stand up was some of the best as well, I hav... moree always been a fan so knowing what happened and understanding it was interesting to me. However if I was not a fan of Chappelle I don't know if this book would interest me that much. Great for an hour and a half train ride if you are a fan though. less
