review 1: 4.25 starsThis has got to be the quirkiest, strangest and most tender hearted love story I have ever read... J.B. Hartnett... You are something special! This story is about Genevieve and Ahren... And their love... Their insurmountable loss, and allowing themselves to drown in that love again... Live that love with their very real fear of losing that love....I really don't want to give any of the details away.. It is that strange and beautiful... If you like different... You will love this!
review 2: 3.5-4 stars. This book was given to me in return for an honest review. The tale of Ahren and Genevieve was quiet, sometimes quierky, slow paced and sneaky. LOL Sneaky because it took a while for me to connect with the characters and the plot and then suddenly I ju
... morest did. The romance part was to me a bit weird, not necessarily in a bad way, mostly because in this slow paced tempo, the sex and romance was not slow. But in the end it felt right anyway. There were parts I loved, the old man Bryce was one. "Tears should only be wasted on an asshole if you have hemorroids" LOL best quote ever! I must say, considering how this book was written, I think I would have loved it more if I had gotten the full story of Ahren and Gen, from childhood to now. Now many important events were not experienced but told and therefore I struggled a bit with the love between A and G. I believed in it, but I didn't feel it. I did enjoy this story and it made me curious about other books by this writer. I have had one for a long time in my Kindle and it just moved up my TBR! :) less
