review 1: Oh well... What a disappointmentI was really excited for this book with such an interesting description and all the 5 stars reviews! You see, a mechanic girl, a fighter boy, a horrible destiny waiting for her... I didn't think twice and got it! Oh man but this was totally opposed from the really dramatic and intense romance i was hoping for... Like in the first chapter literally he's saying "You are mine" and they pretty much love each other! I wanted to keep reading but i just couldn't, i feel she was like a teenager having her first crush her behavior was so childist! It was like a 30 year old having a relation with a 15 girl! My mind resisted from imagine her as a mechanic with all the naive thing. This was a no no for me!
review 2: 2.5-3 StarsThere were thi
... morengs that I liked and then there were moments when I just couldn't get into the story. I'm thinking alpha fighter stories might not be my thing and that's why. Again there were parts that I did enjoy. The lady who read for Raven was good but a little too breathy for me at times. The guy who read for Jonah was downright wonderfully sexy. Even though the readers did a great job I wonder if I would have felt differently if I read it. less
