review 1: This was a quick novella, full of fun and all sorts of tension building and sparks. I loved how Kyle and Emma are friends first. They are trying to help each other but soon realize that the connection between them is undeniable. I read through this book in one sitting. The characters felt real and the reading was effortless. I enjoyed getting both Emma and Kyle's point of view. I thought the underlying message of accepting people for who they are was a good one. Emma has a past and secrets that she worries about. She is afraid that once people know, they won't like her as much. I'm so glad that Kyle proves her wrong. He is a good friend to Emma.My caution in this book would be the language which was a huge distraction for me. The F word is used, more than once, ... morewhich is a big turn off for me in books. That's just my word of caution though. Take it or leave it as you wish. :)
review 2: Ok, so after finally dumping Lana at the end of Zack Warren's book, Kyle can't seem to find the right girl. Might be something to do with his lack of care for how he comes across and what clothes he wears... I mean, theres no one to impress right?Enter Emma. She's determind to help him get the girl. He deserves to be happy after Lana humiliated him. But as they spend time together, both develop feelings the didn't expect and definitely didn't want. I loved The Unofficial Zack Warren Fan Club, and was so excited that his best friend Kyle got his own book.Loved both central characters in this book. Kyle was such a gentleman and for a nice change, the female lead didn't annoy me.The story is quite short, which meant that it progessed a little too quickly for my tastes. I would have liked for there to be more chase in the beginning, but their feelings for each other began very early on. Then there was an "I love you" which came out of nowhere! Nevertheless I enjoyed this book -well written as an easy afternoon read, and I look forward to lots more books from the author. less

I enjoyed this! It was way too short though so it seemed a bit rushed at times.
