review 1: Tilly Chalmers is now a security officer for Heller. In her three new assignments she has to chaperone scary drug addict at a rehab clinic, she is sent to live at a religious cult (because Heller is pissed at her), where she runs into one of her ex-boyfriend and she is tasked with protecting Trent, a TV host while he attends a trial in court. This book started off and I was thinking it was getting repetitive, but then Tilly donned a costume and the hilarity began.I am sick and tired of the up and down relationship issues that Tilly and Heller have. Heller has a really dark side and half the time he doesn't realize what comes out of his mouth is truly cruel. Then there are times that Heller can be so sweet and sensitive. The Cult Farm totally freaked me out. I know Heller ... moresent her there as punishment. I can't believe he didn't vet out the members that spirited Tilly away. I found this book a bit more disturbing in what happened in some situations and found myself wondering why a lot of the time.I love the funny LOL stuff in the book and regret that Tilly was silly enough to fall for Will's ploy, but the dark was very dark in this book.I found I didn't enjoy it as much as the previous books, but definitely enough to continue, and am hoping they get back on track.4 stars
review 2: From the first book I really wanted Tilly and Heller to be a couple, however as the series has gone along I have reservations. With this book I don't really want it any more. Heller claims that he cares about Tilly, but he purposely did things to hurt her, even if it was passive aggressively. I loved it when Tilly called him out on it, even better she did it in front of Farrell. I hope that Farrell tells the other guys what was said in the car. Later on in the book Heller rips Tilly a new one over her behavior, but what pisses me off is that Tilly warned him about the potential problem and Heller did nothing about it. I thought that the punishment that Heller came up with was petty. Yes, Tilly agreed to it, even brought it up, but the things that Heller said went with it...very petty!Tilly wasn't safe from my ire either. Tilly made a very stupid choice with Will. I really hope at some point Tilly can get over Will and put him in his place. While I found myself ranting and raving about mostly Heller, but Tilly too, my heart broke for Daniel. I hated how things went with him. He was finally reaching out for a normal life and loving it. Too bad he picked the wrong person to try with, that that person couldn't accept themselves and did nothing to protect Daniel, odd considering where the person worked. I was so glad that Tilly was there to save Daniel, even from himself. I'm interested to see where things go. I don't really care about Heller and Tilly any more, but I so want Daniel to find happiness, to find normal, to find someone to accept him. That is what I want to read about. less
