review 1: Dallas to the rescue. The fascinating connection between twins is prevalent in this story. A fast moving short thriller that had an interesting premise. I'm glad this was a short, reading about kidnapping children is not my bag but this was not too bad. Crazy, Silence of the Lamb, occult, genius takes them and it is up to Dallas's team to get them back before the witching hour. A twist makes it even creepier.
review 2: I don't write a lot of reviews for here, mainly because I'm lazy, but I had to write one here for those people who love the Eve Dallas books, as I do, and aren't sure if they want to do the audiobook for this between the numbers. DON'T DO IT!As with all of the between the numbers books, this is an entertaining story (which is why I gave it 3
... morestars rather than 1), but not as good as the full novels. Sadly this book is only available via audiobook. It is also the one of her "In Death" books that I've experienced this way. The woman who performs it is awful, simply awful. Clearly she has no idea about the characters. The voice for Peabody, pronounced "Peabuddy" for some reason is atrocious. She makes her sound like a bumbling idiot! It's almost as though Goofy is playing the part of Peabody. It's such a disservice to the character. There are other reasons, I don't enjoy her performance, but the Peabody voice made me want to not listen to the story at all. *overlyinvestedinthesecharactersrantover* less

Short book of In Death Series. Too short as the characters were not developed fully but good story.

An unusual 4 stars for me--because it's a short story/novella.
