4.5 starsThis was a great addition to the series. A truly disturbing crime with an even more disturbing why. There wasn't a lot of action this time around, but I liked that. This was a mass murder crime that left me guessing until the end, which I didn't see coming. Everyone really shined in this book and Trueheart had a nice little moment. Eve got more personal growth after the events in Dallas and made me smile so much as usual. Great book!
This was sad. So much death and all of it was pretty much senseless. There were targets, but even they had nebulous reasons for death. Just bizarre. However, the image of Summerset and Eve having a tea party while quietly discussing the past was cute. And, Eve finally figured out how to get Stella out of her head. (Although, I kept hearing Lorelai Gilmore yell "Stella" every time that I read the name--damn chick!)
I thought it was drawn out, not one of my favorites but still an interesting plot.
Starting a series with #35 is not a good idea...
