review 1: Gripping plot with unexpected twists and unpredictible ending. You can never guess where the next page brings you to. Even though 'Le Passager' might seem a bit dragged out for some readers, all the details and explanations just add up to the entire 'picture' of the book (the more you read it, the more you understand it). I cannot help admiring a great erudition of the author as it is clearly felt that one has to be well up in psychology and psychiatry so that to make a successful attempt to build the plot on these subjects delving into the possibilities of human mind, intellect and experiments on them. However, the story is not only about that, it's about being mentally strong, persevering and ready to find the answers to all the agonizing questions and stand all the asto... morenishing revelations. Shocking and confusing, surpising and sometimes frightening, this book will make you empathize with the 'journey' of the attractive main character wondering if he would ever (and finally) find one true self and where he would end up. It is definitely a MUST for everybody who loves Grange and not only.
