review 1: The Pulse of Life is centered around the grief of one woman after she list a daughter in a car accident. Her grief consumes her and leads her to do something unthinkable for most of us. This is about her journey and the stranger that cones into her life and changes everything. The main character, Andria comes off as very selfish to me. I had to take a step back from my judgements and realize the death of a child is such a uniquely tragic experience.and I can't imagine how I would cope and really how can I say how someone should cope? This is a quick read. I read it in one day.
review 2: From time to time, I find myself wondering about decisions I might make when confronted with difficult, if not impossible, circumstances. We'd all like to believe that we would ... moredo the honorable, right thing at crunch time, but would we? How can we ever know?The Pulse of Hopeful Life raises hard questions. It forces the reader to confront such a circumstance. Good books should make us to look inside and wonder. Ms. Watters' book does just that. I highly recommend it. less
