review 1: Yes, most of this book is set in Bombay. Yes, drugs play a major part in it. But this non-linear narrative goes well beyond this. I enjoyed reading this book (it is a fast read, too), particularly the first chapters. Some of the last parts of the book could have been more enticing and, in particular, I was a bit disappointed in how one of my favorite characters was just dropped and we just have a glimpse of what happened to her in the end.
