review 1: ok.........to start with it i'm pretty dissapointed because if Jeff Sampson thinks he can weave a nice plot with a few mysteries and stuff....then no!he just can't.yes,wit all the shape shifting and stuff we kinda know that we are dealing with a supernatural stuff........see,this is the problem with YA fictions,they can get pretty shallow....like all a dorky glasses teen can do is wish for a guy and brood and have a pissing controlling friend(shocker!)........yes,that's turning me on!all in all it's a pretty dissapointing book with a promicing cover....that's all
review 2: I really thought that this book has a good plot that will get me hooked. I guess I was wrong. I just find the pacing of the events slow. It's like the book didn't tell much of Emily's story. ... moreI don't even know if I want to buy the next book/s of this series. Maybe I would, just out of curiosity of what happens to Emily and the other deviants. What's behind the Bio Zenith Lab? How did they become who they were? At least, the author should have resolved some of those issues in this book. I like night time Emily though and how the characters were written. less
