review 1: A truly masterful suspense novel offering up the human condition, and alternate history of the Romanov's tragic end, bits of faith, and an incredible amount of action. The writing is tight and descriptive, the characters are fantastic and hold their personality throughout the story. Ms. Wiltz is very talented at telling a complex tale in an incredibly engaging way without losing any coherency or detail.

... moreowledge of the Romanov's is limited to what I know from watching Anastasia, but I can say that reading this book has made me want to learn more. The only one aspect that I thought could have been done better was the romantic relationship. To me, it seemed to spring up too quickly and the author needed to spend a bit more time on the development of the characters feelings. Apart from that one slight negative, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it. less
