review 1: This was a well written very short novella. Jennifer Blake is a talented writer and I expected this to be a well done story. But, it is almost like a handsome stalker sets his sights on an unsuspecting woman.Rick is a very nice man who has charm and intelligence and a great sense of humor. But, he misrepresents himself from the very beginning.Meghan owns a holiday store and has the hardest time of her year dealing with Christmas because of her past. There is a baby who is absolutely adorable and the catalyst for the entire story.I recommend this book to any romance reader who can set aside a sense of realism and simply enjoy the ride toward true love.

... moreretend his own niece is an abandoned infant in order to gain the attention of a woman he is attracted to? And then convince her the two of them should look after the baby over Christmas, without reporting the baby to the authorities?AND then in a desperate move to trap said woman, has unprotected sex with her, hoping she will become pregnant and come to him for marriage?Like I said, DUMB! But maybe that is why I liked it . . . so completely improbable! less
