review 1: "Rock It," the first book in Jennifer Chance's Rule Breakers series, is a fun, sexy read. In the beginning, I was swept up in the excitement of a rock concert and meeting with a high powered talent agency. Then, at times, it was awkward and disjointed, like a dream. Also, I would get a little lost as the heroine shifted between fantasies and reality. Once those things improved, so did the flow of the story. I enjoyed this sweet and endearing book in spite of feeling a bit like I was in a teenage girl's extended fantasy of the future. I will be reading "Fake It," the next book in the series.
review 2: This book was so much more than I expected. I loved every part of this book from the first meeting between Dante and Lacey. The book had a wonderful combination
... moreof humor, sexiness, and passion. Lacey is a perfect leading lady for this book because she represents so many women who are haunted by our pasts and yet are forced to grow up and become a woman. I have never read Jennifer Chance’s books before, but I am a new fan now. I highly recommend this book less
