review 1: OK, so I see some plus and minus in this book:- Gwen shouldn't weeping away every time, at first I understand. But it gets annoying after 100 pages, esp when she lost in sad memory of her mom. - I know why Gwen don't have any friends: because she didn't give effort to do. She generalize all student in Academy are sucks, I hate her for that.- The story might more interesting if they added more dialogues, not just Gwen thoughts over and over. I even confused how Logan interested in Gwen when he only meet her in a few occasions and talk a little. I hope the next book will answer my confusion.but things gets interesting in the end. I get excited to read until it finish and actually looking for the next book, I hope the story gets better.
review 2: It wasn't as grea
... moret as I had hoped. The character seemed very immature, the writing style was a bit too juvenile for my tastes, and I felt like its only truly redeeming quality was its decent plot. If the second book wasn't $6, I would buy it to see how the plot progresses even if I don't particularly like the characters, but I just bought a paperback copy of another book for that much so no way am I paying $6 for an e-book. Basically, the main character sucked but the plot is decent so if you can put up with the annoying, rambling internal monologue of Gwen, it's an okay novel. less

There were a couple of things that annoyed me about this, but I enjoyed it overall.
