review 1: I loved this book. The Mythos Academy was one of my fave series and I didnt really wanted it to end. Although sometimes I was really annoyed of it. Because it was so obvious what would happen next. Like in this book :-( But I still... loved it :-) Of course there were many things I was pretty annoyed of, like the way Vivian and Gwen talked to each other (like there were in "Mean Girls" and not in a freaking war! -.-), and also (as I said) how obvious so many things were :-/. And I was also really annoyed of some characters (Geraldine Frost!!!, Vivian, Gwen kinda, Logan (his character totally changed -.- ) ) and I know that it might seem like there are more negative things than positive but... I still thought that it should have 4 stars :-)
review 2: if I had th... moree ability to see thoughts and intentions with a single touch and if the fate of the world hung in the balance with people already dying left and right, id be touching everyone and everything left and right, privacy be damned! but then I suppose the story would fit into one book instead of six and we dont want to miss out on the important repetitions that make up 30% of each book, or the stupidity of most of the characters, or the 'love' the author is unsuccessfully forcing on gwen and logan. 'Bad, Bad Things', 'Hang Out and Be Seen', 'The Powers That Were', and more!! You can expect these very phrases every few chapters folks. And no, Logan Quinn does not own anything thats not blue or black, you know, cuz they, like, totally go with his hair and his eyes. and even though he can chop off someones head with a piece of paper or bludgeon them to death with a chocolate chip cookie, he's usually too possessed or injured to do so. and Nike's 'champion' is a whiny stupid girl who never has her sword and her special powers are being too late and getting herself stabbed and knocked out and etc etc. and the scary statues? no they dont do much, even though there have been a gazillion attacks on campus, and there are actually reaper students and professors who live under their very noses. its so boring I dont even want to write about it anymore. less
