review 1: Great series. A lot of people are up in arms about the ending but they obviously missed all the hints about it. Mainly the first most obvious one being Lukys mentioned to Cayal that he is going to start Christianity. How people did eventually see where this was going is beyond me. Again how they mention the splitting of atom and worm-holes really begs the question of peoples reading comprehension. Great books and have re-read the series at least 4 or 5 times.
review 2: I don't know how to rate this book. How do you rate a book you love... until the end? And it wasn't that the ending was necessarily bad, but it felt rushed, and too many things were left unexplained, and it seemed like the author was either just sick of the whole thing at that point or really did... moren't know how to wrap it all up. I am so confused. I want to give it a high rating because the story was excellent, the writing was engaging, the characters were diverse and believable, and yet... and yet. WTF happened, man? less
