review 1: First thing i would say is sit down to read this book when you have time, and don't have to stop, because trust me you will not want to have to put this book out of your hand until you have finished.I aint always keen on triangles, because i think that sometimes the female lead becomes so predictable with her indecisions and end up being whiney. But this story was written perfectly, it had my heart and emotions on edge from the word go, it possessed me and didn't let me go even after i had finished.Katy has grew up with Twins Branch and Brooks, and has always been in love with Brooks. She thinks Brooks doesn't feel for her in this way and she starts a relationship with Branch and becomes engaged to him. The night before her wedding to Branch she sleeps with and finally adm... moreits her real love is Brooks. Not wanting to tear apart the brothers she leaves and discovers she's pregnant with Brooks child. At this point in the story i really liked Katy, but as things developed from this point i kinda started to want to choke her and rattle her into some sense. I felt she was a bit heartless, self centered and selfish. She meets Bobby who befriends her and is so supportive of her, even to point of marrying her knowing she will never love him, events take on more twists and turns, and Brooks comes back into her life to find he's a father etc.I felt no sympathy for Katy at this point because she was hurting everyone around her, but even feeling all this the story consumed me and i couldn't put it down !!It evoked high emotions in me, from anger, to cussing, crying to laughingA GREAT READ !!! A MUST READ!!!
review 2: 3.5 stars... I loved this book so much, the reason I didn't give it higher stars is because there was a few things that bothered me too much to go higher... I actually really like Katy, she had been through so much and although she did make some extremely bad choices (most would have not happen if she actually just told the truth) I feel like she was just flawed like everyone, just trying to make it through life and do the best for her daughter... I feel like this book was longer than it had to be and was very repetitive in some words, which got on my nerves. Could be a pet peeve of mine. I also felt like some parts of the book are her thinking back, like in the "this happened two days ago" way... why not just write it as it happens and then I would get confused on what was current. Or was the whole book her thinking back on how she got where she is now? it was kind of confusing..anyway, I loved the plot and all the twists. I love how it was one thing after the another, and not just a boring story where nothing happens (if i wanted that i'd read a book about my life) lol. less
