review 1: Jenny does it again! Her style of writing draws you in and has you in the palm of her hand. The main character in this chick lit novel is Carrie, who is obsessed with self-help books as she is trying to find her way in life. She loves being a nanny and is quite good at it but realizes she wants a family of her own. Slowly she falls for her new boss, Adam. At first he seems rather cold and distant towards his children but then he begins to show his true colors and wins us over with his pure love for them. Both characters grow and mature in the story and as they do they grow together and the romance unfolds slowly and tenderly. The theme of the importance of family winds throughout this novel as well. Need some hope? Want a "feel good" type of read? Want a book that you don'... moret want to put down? Buy this book! You will be glad you did!
review 2: What a wonderful start to the holiday season. I loved reading this sweet, romantic book about a strong woman trying to find her way. I was hooked from chapter 1! This author has an amazing talent for bringing the characters to life and drawing you in to a story that is both loving and powerful. I can't say enough about Adam and his children. A great prospective on this struggling dad. Loved Carrie and all she brought to this family. While finding herself Carrie manages to help Adam find his way back to being a dad. What Christmas is really about... love, family & being who God wants you to be. less
