review 1: So I am not religious and didn't realize this was a religious book so I might not be the best reviewer. I have read other christian romances though and enjoyed some of them. The real reason why I kept reading was because it started out as such a trashy romance then all of a sudden it is God this and God that and I was like what? So I had to keep reading to see if it turned trashy or not, and it didn't. It did however make me think less of the christian characters. I mean sure it would be great to marry someone with the same religious beliefs, but I know plenty of couples of mixed religions and they are perfectly happy and not all sad and wishing they had made different choices. But then again they all respect other peoples religious views so...It just got to be very annoyi... moreng how closed minded they were.
review 2: this was a good short and sweet book to read while in the midst of my hectic life. there was a bit of action and thrill since it is about cops working undercover, but there were more elements on faith and God. There were a lot of points I was glad they brought up. such as "why do bad things happen to good people", or being "unequally yolked", "standing strong in your convictions" to name a few. and really liked that prayer was involved a lot. the characters were believable and easy for many to relate with. when I first read the synopses, I thought it was a little silly, the whole 'Christian undercover cop as a pregnant teen'. but as I read more into it, It sounded much more plausible, which made it entertaining at the same time. I like this book, and would recommend it. less

I wouldn't have bought it, but it was free. The plot was okay, but the ending was hard to believe.

A bit predictable but loved the theme and it was a light, relaxing read.
