review 1: I was excited to read this book, but after finishing it, I'm just annoyed. Shia goes from wanting to kill Chaz to letting him help her dress. Who does that?!! She then tries to kill Royce, but ends up having sex with him. All of this is blamed on the belt, Issac. You never find out why she was bleeding black crud or why she smelled like were and vamp. Who knows where Sarah or her family is this entire time. She wants Jack's help again, but then abandons them after they go to fight. We are left not knowing what happened to Jack and the Sunstrikers. I will not be continuing this series. This book killed it for me.
review 2: I am so done with this series. I loved the first book, thought the second book was ok and hated the third book. After reading a plethora of
... morepositive reviews for book 4 I decided to give it one more chance but it just didn't do it for me. If you like the other 3 books you will probably like this one. If like me you have been progressively disappointed by how Shia seems to spend entire books dashing madly about trying to solve her problems for the entire book only to end up worse off than before and are not a fan of controlling heroes who think they deserve praise for "allowing" the heroine to make her own decisions then give it a miss. less
