review 1: All I can say is wow! Rothenburg did a great job on writing the catastrophic history of you and me.After i read the first chapter I was glued to this book!I got hooked on the way Rothenburg made this plot, it's so mystical and supernatural. I loved the romance and the way Rothenburg didn't just make a relationship in the first 3 chapters but instead she lead up to it.But even though this book has it's good things, no book is perfect. The book didn't really hit all parts of the story and it ended up leaving some parts where you didn't know what was going on, this book was also very confusing at the beginning because I didn't know what had happened to Brie.In this novel you meet 16 year old Aubrie, who is called Brie, she tells you about her life and then you find out she is ... moredead. You follow Brie as she meets Patrick, a mysterious teen from the 1900s, who becomes her guide in the world of the dead, and you follow Brie as she goes back home and finds out secrets that no one could've imagined. As Brie gets revenge will she realize that there could be somebody there for her? A certain mysterious guide who's been helping her.My favorite part of the novel was when Brie met Patrick because it was funny and just very compelling. I think this book was very good! The book didn't just stick to revenge and it also went back to Brie's old life, which is why I love this book.I would highly recommend this book if you like romance mixed in with supernatural books.
review 2: I loooooooove this book. The title was enough to get my attention. But the story was too much. A little too much of what I was able to handle when I told myself to read this book.As I'm the type of person to guess what's going to happen next, I was so focused and engrossed in the title and Bree's revenge, connecting them and the happenings, that I forgot one odd factor. Patrick.I've lost count of how many times I've read this book already. But I never did get tired. I just love the story. less
