review 1: I really don't think I can say anything about this book right now without breaking down into tears. Seriously THE FEELS!!!Ok it's been half an hour and I feel ready to get into this. First of all, I have to say that this may be my favourite book of 2014... Overtaking Still Alice, I know hard to believe but true. I stumbled across this book on ePubBud and downloaded it purely because of the cover art, I know "don't judge a book by its cover" and all that jazz but seriously, have you seen the cover? Anyway, I didn't even know what it was about, hadn't read any reviews and have never heard of the author so I was pretty much going on blind. So when I read the first paragraph I was a bit shocked, and understandably so! So basically This book is about a young girl who dies from... more a broken heart (which you would already know if you read the blurb unlike me). The book then takes you through her dealing with her death by splitting up the book in the 6 (or 5?) stages of grief. And honestly, I haven't read a book that's caused me to feel so many different emotions, in such a long time. It was so beautifully written that i felt every emotion Brie was going through, if she was happy I was happy, if she was angry, I was angry you get the idea. The book goes through so many plot twists it's an endless amount of adrenaline and it will definitely keep you sitting on the edge of your seat (or bed or wherever you are while reading this) in suspense. Another thing I have to mention- Patrick. From the first few moments of reading about him, I was obsessed. Well as obsessed as you can be with a fictional character. To sum it up, this is definitely a must read for anyone who enjoys a bit of supernatural, romance, not sure what to call it but it's a pretty good all rounder I reckon. I think if you liked Twilight and Divergent and books about the afterlife then this book is definitely for you. And even if you don't, you should read it anyway, because Terri says so. Just trust me. Also, pretty big tissue warning for this one. Although that's probably a given since it's about a DEAD GIRL!5/5
review 2: I read the first pages few times before but I ended up not finishing up it because I found the first pages boring. So yeah, yesterday, I had my regrets of not having to prioritize this book. IT'S TOO COOL. I mean, the plot twists were so abrupt. They're like, I DIDN'T EXPECT THESE THINGS TO HAPPEN! OMG. Then suddenly, I'd felt the power to bring it down and just sob, BUT NO. Omg! Patrick was damn amazing. He made me more of a hopeless romantic gal and figured out myself asking, "WHERE IS PATRICK?"This book is a must-read! Come on. It is amazinggggg! less
