review 1: Myr has always gotten on my nerves! Most of the stuff that got Rabbit in trouble was because she was stupid. Rabbit used to get on my nerves because he was stupid most the time. But at least in this book we finally got things wrapped up. I wished Andersen would have at least given his father some kind of empathy towards Rabbit instead of him not really having closure. But i guess that didn't happen. In the end i enjoyed the series

After all, he betrayed not only his friends and fellow Nightkeepers, but also destroyed the love he had with Myrinne and to top it all off, his magic is gone. The problem is Rabbit knows they may never trust him again and he isn’t sure he can fulfill the prophecy about him and save the world.Myrinne is still stunned by her last time with Rabbit and his attempt to kill her. She thought that their relationship was strong enough to survive anything, but she never counted on a demon messing with his beliefs, the very foundations of his being. Myrinne survives Rabbit’s attack and even came out of it with stronger magic than she had before. Now she is facing the hardest choice of all, helping to rescue the very man she loved and who turned his back on her.Rabbit realizes right away that his magic has gone to Myrinne. While he wants it back to feel normal, Rabbit would also love to let Myrinne have it. The night of the prophecy is just around the corner and if the Nightkeepers are going to save the world, they will first need to figure out what all the clues they have been give mean. At the same time, Rabbit has to learn what a crossover is and just what his powers are meant to do when the wall comes tumbling down. The hardest part is Rabbit and Myrinne have to work together with his magic to find the answers – harder still because the passion that has always been between them is still there and seems to be getting stronger. The clock is ticking down, it’s only hours until either the world as everyone knows it will end or Rabbit, Myrinne and the other Nightkeepers will find all the answers and stop the deadly turn about to happen.Months have turned into days and now into hours, the survival of the world will come down to the two self proclaimed misfits and their love to save the world with the help of the other Nightkeepers. Spellfire is a book I have long awaited, not because it was the last book of the series and I would finally know all the answers, but because it was Rabbit’s book and I really wanted him to have the best of happy ever afters. I was very worried when I saw Rabbit and Myrinne so far apart. I cheered when Rabbit made it out of that cave and yet again when he and Myrinne began the long road back to the love they had for so long. I came to believe that all the ups and downs were necessary, if painful, for them to find the shocking answers that were needed to save the world.Spellfire takes us right to the strike of midnight and past it with all the drama, suspense and passion you could ever ask for. Now that the answers are known, I’m going to spoil myself and spend an entire weekend reading this series from beginning until end just to feel the tension build up and all the passion that was found and held as each of the Nightkeepers found their own answers to help solve clues in time. If you haven’t read this series yet, I highly suggest that you begin at the first book and read them in order to follow all the over arching clues and indulge in the suspense and passion.My opinions above are just a few of the reasons why I was held spellbound and did not want to put this book down once I began it. All of these reasons and even more are why I have to Joyfully Recommend Spellfire as a must read and the Nightkeepers series as one you will not forget anytime soon.Reviewed by Jo for Joyfully Reviewed less
