review 1: Glazed Murder was an entertaining read that captured my attention from the very beginning and never let go. Suzanne Hart is a very enjoyable heroine who comes across her first murder case when in lands right in front of her donut shop. In addition to Suzanne, the book has some great secondary characters that only add to the story like Suzanne's mother, her ex-husband, her new suitor, her best friend, her employee, and a retired cop friend. I found this book to be full of many twists and turns and proved to be very hard to put down. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
review 2: Two stars because this book is probably okay if you like that kind of thing. It has reminded me why I don't read cozy mysteries (too twee) or books with recipes in them
... more(if I need recipes I go to a recipe book). To be honest this book was poorly written with a very weak plot line, insignificant characters and too many pages dedicated to doughnut recipes. Does anyone actually make doughnuts themselves? Oh and I forgot to mention the awful dialogue. I should probably go back and change that to one star but I feel generous this morning. less
