review 2: Eion is a shifter, the first born of the Alpha. His best two friends, Kris and his younger sister, Olivia, have no idea and it has to remain that way. Olivia nearly drowns, Eion saves her but on doing so, he realises that she is his mate! This is a definite "no, no" - shifters and humans cannot mix and certainly not "mate". He has to leave her - he has no choice. And so this beautiful love story unfolds. There are hundreds if not thousands of shifter romance stories around, what makes this one stand out against the rest, is the way the author executes the storyline with passion and description. She is no novice to the writing world, she is an experienced and well respected author who knows her subject matter and delivers it in a professional way and this shows on every page. The storyline is page turning - you need to see what is going to happen. The sex scenes are sexy but beautifully delivered and the reader visualises the story as it unfolds in their heads. A truly amazing love story. Highly recommended. less
