review 1: This wasn't what I was expecting so maybe that's why it didn't really work for me. It seemed like nothing and very thing happened all at the same time. The mystery was good and I wanted to keep reading to see what was going on but I feel like I didn't ever get any answers to any of the questions just lots more questions. I'll read the next one probably and hope that there is done resolution or at least some answers.
review 2: I'm a big Jessica Sorensen fan. Even though I did really enjoy this story there are a few things about this book that ultimately left me feeling disappointed once I finished reading it. About a quarter of the way in I noticed that the writing style seemed different than her previous books. This wasn't necessarily a good or a bad thing and
... moreit wasn't drastic...just something I noticed. The book kept my interest but when I was about ninety percent in I thought there was no way I was going to get the answers to the questions I had...and I had many. Things were so vague with Emery's perceived flaws, what was going on with Ellis and why exactly she needed to learn sign language to communicate with him, that it left me feeling confused. The ending was more of an abrupt stop than a cliffhanger in my opinion. I didn't feel there was any real resolution to anything. It was a short book but it was also $.99. I will read the next book but I would rather have paid more to have a longer, more complete story. less

CONFUSED... Where is Emery truly from, what does she suffer from, and why is her ex back? Confused.
