review 1: I don't tend to write reviews but it's 1.40am, I just finished book 3 and I'm all over the place emotionally! I did read the series when it was published as YA and I know I liked it but since then (it's been a few years) the story had become blury so I was reading this with a somewhat blank slate. I'm not going to go into the plot because I'm sure other reviews do that a lot better than I ever could but I'm in love with this series. I love Gemma, Alex, Aislin, Laylen and I've even got a love-hate relationship with Nicholas (don't hate me!). Gemma and Alex's relationship is complex and is a huge part of the story but there are so many other paranormal elements to this series as well as the romance (which I love of course!) and I've found it impossible to put my kindle down.... more The ending to this book is a cliffhanger and I usually hate them but as cliffhangers go, this one was amazing! The bombshell at the end-I can't deal with this!!The only thing that I do find a bit repetitive is that majority of the chapters end in Gemma passing out. I understand that when she's going in and out of visions that she'll see light or fall but outside of visions, she passes out a lot!I love Gemma and Laylen's friendship, I'm glad that it didn't result in anything more (I'm not a fan in love triangles) and I hope that it stays as it is because Gemma deserves to have at least one platonic friendship! On the friendship side of things, I'd love Gemma to get to know Aislin more and likewise. They didn't really appear to talk in the first two books, they have seemed to talk more in this one but I think it would be great for Gemma to have a female friend as well as her friendship with Laylen.I hope that this cliffhanger doesn't mean that we won't be seeing as much of Alex as we have done previously. I need a Gemma/Alex fix! I'm not sure on the release date for book 4, goodreads says 2015 and I'm not sure I can wait that long!I'll end this review here and Jessica Sorensen- thank you for this series, you are amazing!
review 2: Finally!!! A direction for this series I’ve been begging for. I really like this series. Fallen Star was equally fantastic, but I love the progression of this story and the many directions it is taking. I am hooked right now. But unfortunately I will have to wait for book # 4. If you have any questions about this series please message me. I don’t want to give any spoilers so don’t ask. less

Loved the plot. Annoyed by the grammatical errors. Still worth reading.
