review 1: An enjoyable little journey exploring colours (and similes) and how they evoke different emotional responses in different people. My Miss 9 was disappointed that her favourite colour, purple did not get a look in however the pattern of discussion set up throughout the book meant we could pursue our own line of comparison with whatever colour we thought of. Fun and lavishly illustrated. Recommended for 4 - 8 year olds.
