review 1: This installment wasn't as good as the others. It was valuable to follow the plot lain out in the books before it. I was able to pick up what has gone on with Savous being Reaja. The couple in the book did nothing for me. Which is unfortunate cause I like the hero, who was previously squire to Salin. I didn't agree with Savous' solution to Marison and Geriman's predictament. I want things to stay as they are. I like them separate from the humans. Ah well, change is inevitable I guess.
review 2: I have to say that while I enjoyed the story as a whole, there are a couple of things that I wasn't happy with in this book:1. The fact that the heroine's brother was repeatedly raped and took the brunt of the abuse at the hands of rogue raedjour. I get how the rapes wer
... moree necessary for the plot, and while I'm not squeamish in regards to the m/m scenes, I'm not keen on forced sex.2. The abrupt end. So, Marisol and Jarak are truemates. And we ONLY got to experience them as truemates in a few pages at the very end of the book. Most of the book revolved around the aftermath of the rapes, instead, so there was very, very little H/h connection as a whole.Other than that those two gripes o' mine, the series in general has been quite good and I'm looking forward to reading the next book. less

This was so sad at first, but I'm glad with the ending. :D
