review 1: 2.5While I really loved the idea for this one I found myself disappointed.Dusty and Bryce were a sweet couple, although I really didn't get Dusty's issue with their ages. I enjoyed the way they struggled to become more emotionally close, and while the ending was sweet, it was also rather abrupt and rushed. Bryce moves and that's all it took for Dusty to forget all his hang ups? Sadly I felt the whole story was over whelmed by the sex and by the females in this story. They were all the same and very annoying. Again I really liked the idea and the coupling, but I found I couldn't quite lose myself in this story.
review 2: Jet Mykles is among my top auto-buy authors, so when I discovered the other day that this was being released I was delighted and surprised. (I
... moreusually stalk her WiP page and wait very impatiently for releases.)Unfortunately, this just didn't seem to have the feel of a Jet Mykles story. I found myself not really caring very much about the characters (which is an absolute first for one of her stories!) and honestly slightly bored with just how many back-and-forths there are before things finally get resolved. It was still a pleasant read, and several parts (mostly the ones poking gentle fun at the crazy women who write m/m romance) were funny. I couldn't help but feel slightly let down, though. less

Meh... I hate to say it because I love most of her books, but this one is just meh.
