review 1: I found this to be an interesting read, definitely made a strong case against the death penalty while humanizing both the criminals and those whose lives they affected. Much of the back story that you learn about the characters over the course of the book is agonizing to read yet as the pieces link together you gain a new perspective on how those life circumstances and struggles led to the present. The characters are very well developed and I really felt for them in the end and was affected by their transformations and redemption as they became more authentic and aware of their inner lives in relationship to others. Heart felt and universal messages albeit told in a slightly different fashion from this Korean author.

The story just simply amazing in its own, and as usual i love how Sahara Mizu foretold this story from her artwork. Simply beautiful.Its such unforgettable story of forgiveness and redemption. Its about how we cant pick where we were born but then in the end, it is our decisions that path our way. less
