review 1: In a nut shell, I liked the stories, but I didn't fall in love with them, which makes me give this compilation 3 starts instead of 4. All He Wants For Christmas by Jill Shalvis:Nice read. I adore Jill Shalvis books, and this had her style, but lacked her uniqeness. My Grown Up Christmas List by Jacquie D'Alessandro:This was my favourite out of the three books. I loved both the characters, and it was a relatively funny story.Up On the Housetop by Jamie Sobrato:FOr me this story was too abrupt. It felt too rushed and hence was not quite as enjoyable.

It was to be a light introduction to erotic romance for those who have not tipped a toe into that part of the genre. I however think it was more steamy than erotic. It must be hard for authors when writing novellas to find the line between erotic romance and erotica. These 3 stories were definitely more story than sex although the steam level was nice in all three. I specifically like the 2nd of the 3 stories best because I found Brad the male lead better fleshed out and he had more personalities than the others. Toni the female lead in this story not so much as I think she punished all firefighters for the action of a few a pretty immature outlook but it did make for a good read. I have given this book a 3 star rating and would recommend it to those just starting to read erotic romance but knowing it was more steam than erotic. Was ok for me. less
