review 1: Another fairly well-worn trope.Josephine was married to Traverson by her father, despite her being in love with another. In revenge Josephine has had numerous affairs whilst her nerdish (my characterisation) husband said nothing. Traverson has been desperately in love with Josephine since he first set eyes on her and he has waited patiently for her to come back to him - but it's not working.Traverson decides to change his approach - but is it too late?
review 2: Darn!I was so enjoying this series, then I began this novella and the heroine is openly having affairs and having little to do with her husband. Sure, married women could dally outside their marriage in the Regency period, but discreetly - not flagrantly as this one was doing. There was a point in the st
... moreory where she has the Eureka moment and realizes she loves her bug-loving husband, but I was a bit so-what? about it. Her husband didn't come across as an Alpha male, but he was still likeable, whereas I really didn't find the heroine so likeable at all. I've found her irritating in the first two books, and my opinion of her hasn't improved much with this story. I was disappointed in this one for the simple reason that I really didn't care whether the heroine got her HEA; and was actually hoping the hero would wash his hands of her. Am hoping the fourth book is as good as the first two. less

This is a story about Traverson standing up and taking back Jo. Love it!
