review 1: I liked this one alot. Barney, Fred, and Gershwin are the best. Johnny, the bossy bratty, makes a very good partner for the gruff alpha male of Grissom. I liked the chemistry and tension between them at the beginning when Johnny didn't know if he really wanted to explore being gay. I also appreciated we got a little bit of time to know Johnny before Grissom entered the picture. Although there wasn't a ton of sex in this book I did like few kinkier aspects the was sprinkled throughout the book. I can't say there were any surprises in this book but the characters really clicked for me. I enjoyed watching Johnny change from a rock star to lover and daddy.
review 2: I enjoyed the characters very much. What amazes me is how one subject can play out so differen
... moretly with two men than with a man a woman. Now if this book used a woman and included baby scenes/adoption, this book would have been thrown out of my Kindle but because two men were in the baby scenes, it was OK. I have to admit the plot is not what I expected. I like my books to take place in bars or bdsm clubs but babies??? Some how it all worked for me given the characters. I loved how they played with each other. The Alph male was a sheriff and the submissive one was a retired rock star so the combination was great. It was set in West Virginia too. It was a love story and a coming out story too. less
