review 1: This prequel novella fell flat...extremely flat. it's missing vital pieces. The details of the accident, scenes of abuse between Asher and his father could have been added not only to make this a true novella but to give readers more insight to Asher/Audrey and the rest of the brotherhood. This prequel read more like a short story than it did a novella. 16 pages of teenage angst and a kiss. But it was free.
review 2: This is the prequel to Audrey and Asher's story. They were once best friends then Asher started to change and Audrey couldn't figure it out. He is turning from a pretty boy to a handsome man, and Audrey wants to move to the next level in their friendship. Only she is afraid of losing Asher all together. This is a look into Asher and Audrey's past
... more. It helps to understand where they are coming from in their novel Asher. There is more insight and still some questions left, but it gives you a few answers to their past. less

Short, sweet prequel showing the couples first display of interest. On to Asher.
